Description

14 Well Street is a mid-19th century detached house, part of a pair of identical homes. The front is faced with white brick, while the sides and rear are made of red brick, topped with a slate roof featuring a paired modillion eaves cornice. The house has two storeys and cellars. The exterior includes flat pilasters at each corner and beside the central doorcase and windows. There is a raised brick band between the storeys. The house has a three-window range with 12-paned sashes set in plain deep reveals with gauged heads. The central door has four heavy raised fielded panels and a rectangular fanlight, accessed by steps. The doorcase features panelled reveals, panelled pilasters, and a cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
