Description
15 Well Street is one of a pair of identical but detached houses built in the mid-19th century. The front is made of white brick, while the sides and rear are constructed from red brick, topped with a slate roof that features a paired modillion eaves cornice. The building has two storeys and a cellar.
On the exterior, there are flat pilasters at each corner and beside the central doorcase and windows. A raised brick band runs between the storeys. The house has a three-window range, featuring 12-paned sash windows set in plain deep reveals with gauged heads. The central door has four heavy raised fielded panels and a rectangular fanlight, accessed by steps. The doorcase includes panelled reveals, panelled pilasters, and a cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
