Description
67 St Johns Street is a house that has been divided into two shops on the ground floor, with a flat above. It has an early to mid 16th century core and a 19th century front. The building is timber-framed and rendered, featuring a jettied front and a steeply-pitched slate roof with a wide eaves overhang. It has two storeys and a three-window range, with sashes without glazing bars in flush cased frames. Plaster coving covers the ends of the jetty. The ground floor has two 19th century shop fronts with recessed central entries. Inside, the frame consists of three bays. On the left, a two-bay ground floor room has exposed main cross-beams with double roll-mouldings and large curved stops, while the remaining bay has no original features visible. The upper storey has not been inspected.
