TL 87 NE FAKENHAM MAGNA 1/55 Rymer Farm Cottages, Barnham.

GV II

A pair of estate cottages. Mid C19. 2 storeys: half-H plan: central range and 2 gabled cross-wings. Flint and brick with rusticated quoins and glazed double Roman tiled roof. Front and side walls in alternating panels of kidney flints and rusticated red brick with diaper patterning in blue headers. Central range has a gablet, with ornamental barge-boards, containing a 2-light casement window with cambered head. Monopitch single-storey open porch supported on posts, 2 plank doors. Matching cross-wings each have ornamental barge-boards and an internal chimney-stack: rectangular shaft, corbelled-out at head, dentil cornice. 3-light mullion-and-transome type windows set off into the brick panels on fronts, 2 cross windows set into ground storey brick panels on side walls.
