Description
Neville Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse that stands two storeys high. It is constructed of random knapped flint with yellow brick dressings and a string course, topped with a slate roof. The north and south ends of the building are splayed, featuring windows on two of the three sides. The front has a three-window range with small-paned sashes set in deep reveals, each with arched heads to their surrounds. An open-fronted porch made of white brick has a triangular pediment and a plain entablature, with an entrance door that has six flush panels, flanked by two windows that have been restored in the 20th century. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing built in the same materials and style, along with an adjoining range to the west that is one storey with attics and appears to have originally been constructed as a pair of cottages. The farmhouse is situated in an isolated position.
