Description
Heath Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century and early 19th century, with an early 20th-century extension on the south side. The building has two storeys and is constructed partly of rubble flint and partly of white brick. The original house now serves as the service wing, which is a long range parallel to the road, made of flint with a clay pantiled roof and a large internal chimney stack made of white brick. The upper storey features three small-paned sash windows in flush frames, while the lower storey has 20th-century replacements. At the rear, there are 19th-century casement windows set in rusticated red brick surrounds. The later main range, aligned east-west, is made of early 19th-century white brick with slate roofs and wide, plain overhanging eaves. It also has small-paned sash windows with flush frames and three blocked windows with painted tracery. On the south side, there is a two-storey extension that forms a porch and wing.
