Description

No. 1 Park Gates is a former parish Sunday School, now functioning as a cottage, dating from the early 19th century. The building is single storey and constructed of white brick, featuring a high parapet adorned with diamond patterns in red brick. It has a flat roof and a slight projection for a chimney stack on the rear wall, which consists of a single ornate white brick shaft. On either side of the plank door, there is a 2-light casement window with arched Gothic heads, and both the window surrounds and the doorway are designed with rounded arches.
