Description

No. 37 Middle Street is a cottage that originated as two separate cottages in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with some limestone rubble and features a pantile roof that has a gable stack and a ridge stack. The building has a lobby entrance plan and stands two stories high with a four-bay front that includes a rubble plinth. There are two doorways with segmental heads and partially glazed doors, which alternate with two glazing bar sashes on the ground floor. Above, there are two additional glazing bar sashes, and all the windows have segmental heads.
