Description
This milestone, dating from the late 19th century, is made of colourwashed limestone and iron, featuring black painted detailing. It has a slightly pointed top and an iron plaque attached to its west side. The plaque is inscribed with the distances to London (102 miles), Bourn (5 miles), and Rippingale, all in black lettering.
