Description

This milestone, located on the east side of Bourne Road in Haconby, dates from the late 19th century. It is made of colourwashed limestone and cast iron, featuring painted black detailing. The rectangular stone has a slightly pointed head, with an iron plaque attached to the west side. The plaque is inscribed with the distances to London (100 miles), Bourne (3 miles), and Morton.
