Description
Nos. 45 and 47 on Haconby Lane are two cottages dating from the mid-18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. They are constructed of colourwashed rubble and feature a pantile roof with two ridge stacks and a single gable stack. The cottages are single storey with an attic and have a five-bay front. To the left, there is a glazed lean-to porch with a partially glazed door. This porch is flanked by two-light casement windows, with a doorway to the right that has a plank door, and another two-light casement window beyond. All openings are topped with wooden lintels. Above, there is a single raking dormer featuring a 20th-century casement window. These cottages are included in the listing for their group value.
