Description
Two barns located at Church Farmhouse, built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble, with some sections of limestone ashlar. The roofs are made of corrugated iron and pantiles. The smaller barn to the north features a flight of steps against the west gable end that leads up to a first-floor doorway with a plank door. The north side of this barn is plain and has a single-storey, two-bay extension to the east, which includes a plank door and a shuttered opening to the left, both beneath the same wooden lintel. The larger barn runs parallel to the south and has a single doorway to the left with a plank door and wooden lintel, as well as a shuttered opening with a wooden lintel in the west gable end. The two barns are connected by a wooden structure that is not of special interest. Church Farmhouse itself is not listed.
