Description
West Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse with two storeys and a basement, featuring an L-shaped form. It is constructed of black knapped flint with rusticated white brick dressings and has a black glazed pantiled roof. There is an end chimney-stack on the south side. The front has a three-window range with small-paned sashes set in shallow reveals. A central half-glazed door is approached by a short flight of steps and is flanked by a portico with a triangular pediment supported by Tuscan columns. The long side range, made from the same materials as the front and apparently built at the same time, includes five small-paned sash windows and a secondary entry.
