Description
Home Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse. It features a ground floor made of coursed knapped squared flint, while the upper floors are constructed from brick, topped with a glazed black pantiled roof. The building has three storeys and three bays, with two ground floor and three first floor wooden casement cross windows, as well as three second floor two-light casement windows, all with cambered arch heads. The first and second floor windows have plaster aprons with lugged corners. There is a part glazed door set within an earlier embrasure, which has an original rectangular fanlight and a bracketed canopy pentice above, dating from around 1930. The farmhouse also features a dentil brick eaves cornice, parapeted gables with two end stacks, and a two-storey outshut at the rear.
