Description

The Roundhouse is a cottage dated 1844. It is constructed of plaster render on brick, with pentagonal slates for roofing. The building is designed on a hexagonal plan. It is two storeys high. The ground floor has a central boarded door with a two-centred arch. An arched metal trellis-work porch is present. A blank first-floor window is visible, displaying a plaque with the date W.N. 1844. Each bay features single ground and first-floor windows with two-centred arched, pointed, two-light cast iron lattice work. The roof is hipped.
