Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates back to the 16th century for the west range and the 18th century for the east range. It is constructed of squared, knapped coursed flint for the earlier section and red brick for the later addition, topped with red pantiled roofs. The building is two stories high, featuring three windows in the earlier section and four windows in the later section. The original part has two blocked rectangular rusticated windows on the ground floor and one blocked window on the first floor, with brick quoins and kneelers from a former jettied gable at the south-west corner. There are three ground floor and two first floor plate glass windows from around 1900. The steeply pitched roof includes one stack on the north gable. The 18th-century wing on the east side has one ground floor sash window and four first floor sashes, all with glazing bars. Additionally, there is a ground floor canted sash window with three panes and an added structure. The 18th-century wooden doorcase features a moulded embrasure and entablature, panelled reveals, a six-panel raised and fielded door, and a fanlight head with glazing bars.
