Description

Hill Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse built of gault brick with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. It features two ground floor sashes and three first floor sashes, all with glazing bars, set under flat rubbed gault brick arches. The central entrance has a moulded doorcase with brackets that support a hipped pediment. The door is raised and fielded panelled, topped with a rectangular fanlight. There is a parapet gable and two rear ridge stacks. Attached to the north is a double pile service wing, which adds a fourth bay to the facade at the south-west, containing one ground floor and one first floor sash with glazing bars.
