Description
Brick Kiln Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from gault brick, featuring a hipped roof covered with black glazed pantiles. The building has two storeys and an L-shaped plan. Its symmetrical facade consists of three bays, each with wide sashes that include glazing bars, and red brick gauged arches above the openings. Brick pilasters separate the bays. The central doorway has an elliptical arched head and a six-panelled door topped with an elliptical fanlight. There are twin stacks symmetrically positioned to the north of the ridge line. On the east side, there is a red brick lean-to that has two segmental-headed 2-light casements. To the north, a gabled 2-storey wing made of gault brick features casements with segmental heads and parapet gables, along with an internal chimney stack located to the south.
