Description
Nos. 4 and 6 on Harvey Street are two houses dating from the mid-17th century, which were refaced in the mid-19th century. They are constructed of brick, likely with some timber framing, and feature a pantiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high and have three giant order pilaster strips. There is a 20th-century door located in a 19th-century doorcase to the left of centre, with an additional door on the right. The ground floor has three sash windows, while the first floor has five sash windows, all with glazing bars and set under gauged skewback arches. A gault brick dentiled eaves cornice runs along the top. The roof is gabled and hipped to the east, with an internal gable stack on the west side and a second stack located to the right of centre. At the rear, there are renewed casements situated under the eaves of an outshut with a catslide roof.
