HOVETON HORNING ROAD TG 31 NW (north side) 7/60 Nos. 20 and 21 26.2.76 - II

2 houses, originally one. Mid C17. Timber framed with brick skin, partly plastered, and thatched roof. Lobby entrance plan. 2 storeys on brick plinth. Central door. To left an early C19 segmental-headed casement and a C20 door to left again. To right of central door facade built out at ground floor and tiled. One early C19 casement. Moulded first floor platband and 4 early C19 first floor casements of varying sizes. Timber eaves cornice and gabled roof. Partly rebuilt ridge stack. Lean-to extensions against east and west gables, the gables in English bond brickwork. Timber framing survives in interior, close studded. Many internal alterations.
