Description

Nos. 10 and 11 on Thames Street are two houses built in the early 18th century. They feature a flint plinth and grey brick in header bond with red brick dressings, topped by an old plain-tile roof and a brick internal stack at the rear center. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic and have a four-window range.

To the left, there is a four-panel part-glazed door with a flat hood supported by shaped brackets, while to the right is a six-panel part-glazed door with a similar flat hood on brackets. The center has two 16-pane unhorned sash windows. A flat brick band runs between the ground and first floor. The first floor features two 12-pane unhorned sash windows with wood architrave surrounds, along with segmental-headed recessed panels on the left and right. A dentil course adorns the eaves, and there are two gabled full dormers with two-light wood casements. The interior has not been inspected.
