Description

The Row Barge Public House is a mid-17th century building with an 18th century addition on the left. The ground floor is constructed of 20th century red brick, while the first floor features lined render with decorative bands, likely built on timber framing. The roof is covered with plain tiles, and there is a large brick end stack on the left, which has been partially rebuilt and sits on a flint base. The building is probably designed as a single-cell plan and consists of a single storey with an attic. It has a single-window range, with a 20th century door to the left and a 20th century three-light wood mullion and transom window to the right. There is a gabled half-dormer that contains a 2-light casement window. Inside, there is a blocked fireplace on the ground floor to the left. Additionally, there is a 2-bay single-storey extension to the left, which features a central brick ridge stack.
