Description

Two houses, dating from the mid-18th century and subsequently altered. The left-hand house has a painted brick facade, while the right-hand house is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with flared brick headers. The roof is covered with old plain tiles. The building has two end stacks: one of rendered brick on the left, and one of brick on the right; a further brick stack is located towards the right of the roof ridge. The houses present a three-window facade at a right angle to the street. A plank door is situated to the right of centre, sheltered by a flat hood supported on brackets. There are three four-pane horned sash windows on the left-hand side, with segmental brick heads above each. A sixteen-pane unhorned sash window, also with a segmental brick head, is present to the right. Above, three unhorned sixteen-pane sash windows are visible. A dentil course runs along the eaves. A 20th-century door is located on the left return side of the building, facing the street. The interior has not been inspected.
