Description

No. 36 High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a pantiled roof. It stands two storeys tall, with a 20th-century shop front on the ground floor. The first floor has three sash windows that rise to the eaves line, and these windows still have their glazing bars intact. The roof is gabled with a bell base, and there is an internal stack at the east end, along with a partly external west stack that shows tumbling in the gable head.
