Description

Durrant is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a gable roof covered with corrugated tiles. The building stands three storeys tall and has a mid-19th century shop front on the ground floor, which consists of two canted bays flanking the entrance door. The shop front is supported by irontwist timber columns with moulded capitals and bases, and it retains renewed plate glass sheets. Above the shop front, there are two sash windows on each of the upper floors, all of which have glazing bars. The building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
