Description
The Bull Hotel is an early 19th-century public house located on the south side of Watton High Street. It is constructed of rendered brick with a pantiled roof. The building is two storeys high and six bays wide. The central bay features a fluted, demi-columned doorcase with a curved entablature, and a smaller Tuscan Order doorcase is located to the right, both set below a heavy entablature. The ground floor windows have rusticated lintels; two double casements are on the left side, and two transomed casements are on the right, one with arched lower lights. Six sash windows with glazing bars are on the first floor, with the western pair grouped together. A moulded string course runs below the eaves. The roof is gabled with a bell based structure, and there are centre and gable end stacks. A cross wing of brick, added as a rear service range in 1823, is also present.
