Description

Stowupland Hall is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of gault brick. It features a hipped slated roof, with paired shallow modillions carved with paterae beneath the eaves. The building stands two tall storeys with an attic storey and has three windows, which are small-pane sashes set under flat arches of finely gauged brick. The entrance door is glazed and panelled, with border panes, a semi-circular fanlight with radiating bars, and narrow sidelights, accessed by a flight of three steps. There is an Ionic portico porch with an entablature, all made of limestone. At the rear, there is an original two-storey service wing.
