Description

No. 30 Old Market Street is a house dating from the 16th to 17th century. It has a timber frame with a rendered exterior and a pantiled roof. The building stands two storeys high and features small-paned, two-light casement windows, mostly from the late 19th century, with three on the upper floor and two on the ground floor. There is a central door from the mid-20th century. A small shaft stack is located at the left gable end, and there is another stack against the rear wall. The interior has not been examined. This house is included for its group value.
