Description
Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century, with an early 18th-century cross wing on the left side. A large rear extension was added around 1983. The building is timber framed and plastered, with the cross wing partly covered in colourwashed brick and a pantiled roof. It has two storeys and a two-cell main range featuring 2-light and 3-light small pane casement windows, while the cross wing has mullion and transom casements. There is a modern door leading to the mid-20th-century extension. Each main wing has an internal stack, and the main range has a hipped roof on the right side. The interior has been considerably modernised and features a queen post roof in the main range.
