Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, with 19th-century additions and alterations, as well as some 18th-century additions to the rear. The building is timber-framed and plastered, with 19th-century gault brick. It features plain tiled roofs, two end stacks, and one ridge stack with two shafts. The left-hand extension of the original building has two storeys, while the main range has one storey and an attic, and the cross wing has two storeys and an attic. There is a modern porch entry into the cross wing, a two-storey 19th-century bay window with a gable roof to the left, and a ground floor sixteen-paned hung sash window to the right. The cross wing has a twelve-paned window on the first floor with an attic window above, as well as a hipped dormer window. The interior features 19th-century details.
