Description
Lampardbrook Farmhouse is a farmhouse that features an early 19th-century front range and a 16th-century rear range that is set at right angles and consists of two stages. The front range has two storeys and attics, while the rear range has one and a half storeys. The building is timber-framed, plastered, and lined, with a roof covered in black glazed pantiles. The front range has two external end chimney stacks made of plain red brick. There is a small late 19th-century red brick porch extension on the far right. The front range also includes three small-paned sash windows in flush frames and a central glazed door that is flanked by panelled pilasters and topped with a mid-19th-century cast iron portico. Inside the rear range, some plain framing and roof timbers are exposed. At the far end of the rear range, there is a dairy and cheese chamber with a separate stair, and the cheese chamber features an unglazed and slatted window.
