Description

Norvic, located at 42 Thoroughfare, is a building dating from 1852. It features an ornamental red brick front from 1896, with two gables and two storeys. On the first floor, there are three multi-light windows, and to the right, there is a wing with a single sash window that has glazing bars. The ground floor has a shop front with wooden flank pilasters and an entablature, adorned with delicate ornamental ironwork, including an arch over the central entrance. Norvic is part of a group with Nos 40 to 44 (even) and 52 to 84 (even) and 90 to 94 (even).
