Description
The White Horse Public House, located at No 55 on St Cross Road, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. This building is constructed of red brick and features two storeys plus an attic. On the ground floor, there are two windows with tripartite sashes, while above, there are plain sashes, all set within elliptical heads that have flush frames and glazing bars. The central entrance door has a modern surround and a bracketed hood. The roof is slate and includes three flat-topped dormers. To the left, there is a 19th-century extension that matches the original style. The White Horse Public House is part of a group with Nos 53 to 63 (odd).
