Description

58A Thoroughfare is a 19th-century building, dating from 1852, located on the south side of Thoroughfare. It is two storeys high with an attic and features two dormers. The building is constructed of painted brick and has a dentil cornice and a band. The roof is tiled. There are four sash windows with glazing bars, flush frames, and flat arches, along with one blank panel. A modern shop front is situated on the left side, and there is a six-panel door with an oblong fanlight, as well as modern glazing bars on two ground floor windows. To the right, there is a segmental arched carriageway. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 40 to 44 (even), 52 to 84 (even), and 90 to 94 (even).
