Description

Jacobs is a mid-19th century building situated on the south side of Thoroughfare. Constructed in 1852, it is a three-storey structure of gray brick, distinguished by an eaves band and covered with pantiles. The building features two windows on each floor. These windows are sash windows with glazing bars, topped by moulded lintols resting on moulded beds. The ground floor incorporates a shop front with white marble and flanking pilasters. The building forms a group with numbers 40 to 44 (even), 52 to 84 (even), and 90 to 94 (even).
