Description
No. 47 Thoroughfare is an early 19th-century building, with part of its structure dating back to the early 18th century at the rear. It is two stories tall and constructed of red brick, which has been painted. The building features a parapet, a band, and a rendered plinth. There are four sash windows with glazing bars and flat arches. The ground floor has a segmental arched recess, with a modern window and entrance in the left-hand recess, while the right-hand recesses contain windows with central glazing bars only. A hanging sign is also present. No. 47 is part of a group with Nos. 39 to 55 (odd).
