CRATFIELD SWAN GREEN Moat Farm

(Formerly listed as Moat Farmhouse)

II Farmhouse. C16, possibly in two phases. Timber framed, modern textured render, thatched roof. Two storeys and attic. Three cell form with cross passage entry. Four windows, mainly C19 large-paned casements; mid C20 door. Internal stack and a small stack at the right hand gable end. Lean-to dairy addition to the left hand side.

The interior has some exposed timbering and newel stairs with a finial to the newel post; two doors on the first floor appear to be made from C17 panelling. Moated site.
