Description

The building located 15 meters north of Brook Farmhouse is likely a former farmhouse or service range, which has more recently been used as a dairy or cheese loft. It dates from the early 17th century and features a timber frame with plaster, along with some rebuilding in red brick and a pantiled roof. The structure is two storeys high with an attic, although the first floor is missing at the west end. The ground floor has casement windows, while the first floor features slatted diamond mullion windows. There are two doorways with boarded doors. Notably, there is a good six-light moulded mullion window at the west end of the first floor, along with a matching but incomplete window on the opposite wall; both of these windows are currently blocked.
