Description
This building, located 10 meters west of Old Hall Farmhouse, was originally a dwelling linked to the farmhouse and later served as a dairy or cheeseloft. It dates from the early 17th century and features a two-cell plan with a cross-passage entry. The structure is timber framed and plastered, with a red brick gable end on the south side. The roof is partly covered with plain tiles and partly clad in corrugated iron. The building stands two storeys tall, although a later attic has been removed. It has slatted window openings, some 19th-century casements, and a boarded door. The brick gable displays corbelled eaves, tumbled brickwork, and an integral stack. Inside, there is a clasped purlin roof without principals.
