Description
Trinity is a house that was previously divided into three dwellings. It dates from the late 16th century to early 17th century and was significantly modernised in the early 1960s. The building is timber framed with modern render and brick casing on part of the right-hand gable, topped by a pantiled roof. The first-floor facade featured pargetting with a cruciform pattern within square panels and rusticated window surrounds; however, much of this pargetting has disappeared and the design has been painted in red and blue. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a five-window range, mainly consisting of mid-20th century casements without glazing bars, and one early three-light window on the first floor. There is a 19th-century boarded door at the rear. The house also has two gabled dormers with 19th-century small pane casement windows. Inside, there is an internal stack with a string course at the base and saw tooth brickwork above, as well as a carved tie beam in the left-hand gable. The interior features exposed beams and well-crafted brick fireplaces with depressed four-centre arches.
