Description
Stonehouse Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early to mid-19th century, with later additions at the rear. The exterior features small flint pebbles, white brick rusticated quoins and window surrounds, and brick dentil eaves with a cornice. The roof is hipped and slated. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical facade with a three-window range, featuring inset sashes with glazing bars and segmental arches. The central doorway has a six-panel door, with the upper two panels glazed, and is flanked by plain wooden pilasters, topped with a cornice and pediment. This doorway is a later addition, as indicated by the brick dressings that suggest it was originally a semi-circular headed entrance. At the rear, there are two-storey additions, partly constructed in red brick, with pantiled roofs.
