Description

Nowhere House is a house that likely dates from the late 16th century. It is timber framed and plastered, with a pantiled roof. The building has a single storey and an attic. The windows are mainly 2-light casements featuring square and diamond leaded panes, and there is one gabled dormer on the north side, along with an external stack. To the south and west, there are single storey extensions made of painted brick and pantiles, which include modern leaded windows and a modern half-glazed door. The name "Nowhere House" comes from the fact that the house was extra-parochial until the 1860s.
