Description
Holly Tree Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, featuring an L-shaped plan with a shorter rear wing that runs parallel to the main section. The building is timber framed and plastered, with an original brick gable end on the south side of the front range and a later brick casing on the north gable. The front range has plaintiles, while the main rear wing is covered with pantiles. The farmhouse has two storeys and an attic, showcasing a fine facade with 18th-century three-light casement windows that have square leaded panes. The entrance features an original two-storey open porch with turned balusters on the side openings and an overhanging first floor supported by carved brackets. The original oak doorframe and door are also present. An external stack is located on the south gable, adorned with sawtooth brickwork at the top, while the main rear wing has an internal stack with similar decorative features.
