Description

Nos. 1 and 2, occupied by Mrs. Foster and Mr. Glanfield, were originally one house but are now two separate dwellings. They date from the early 17th century and are timber framed with modern roughcast render and a pantiled roof. The building is single storey with an attic. The windows are mainly 19th century casements, and there are two boarded doors. The south side features two dormers, while the north side has three, all with catslide roofs except for one gabled dormer on the south. There is an internal stack. To the east, there is an 18th-century timber framed extension that was once a separate dwelling.
