Description

The Tower of St Andrew's Church is a Grade I listed round tower, standing approximately 6 meters away from the main church building. It is likely from the 12th century and constructed of coursed flint rubble with a crenellated parapet made of late red brick. The tower features an east doorway dating from the late 13th to early 14th century. Each quarter of the tower has one small lancet window and a single light opening for the bell chamber. Additionally, there is an extra lancet window with leaded panes on the west side.
