Description

The Manor House is originally part of North Manor Farmhouse and is now a separate dwelling. The front section dates to the 18th century, with an early 19th-century extension to the rear. The front part has a timber frame, now encased in late 18th-century red brick and a more modern brick facade, covered by a pantiled roof. It is two storeys high, with a two-window range featuring three-light casement windows with segmental arches above. The rear section is of red brick with a pantiled roof and includes a two-storey and attic element. It has sash windows with glazing bars in flush frames, flat brick arches over the windows, a doorway with a six-panel door, and a flat-roofed portico supported by slender columns. A brick dentil eaves cornice is visible. The building is included on the list for its group value.
