Description
Park Farmhouse is a house that was originally a dairy farmhouse, dating from the 17th century and reworked in the early 19th century. It has a timber-framed structure with colourwashed roughcast render on the exterior and a hipped clay tile roof. The main block consists of three rooms, is one storey high with attics, and has single-storey brick additions at the rear.
On the east elevation, there are three ground floor windows, all of which are 2-light casements, with the middle window being double. The house features three small box dormers, each with 2-light casements. A pedimented porch is present, which has a semi-circular arched doorway with a glazed head and sidelights. The round-headed door consists of six moulded panels. The porch pediment, the entrance archway, and the eaves cornice all display impressed plasterwork decoration, with the archway plasterwork springing from impost bands. A substantial red brick multiple ridge stack is also a notable feature. Inside, the house retains a vaulted dairy room located to the northeast.
