Description

This statue, located at the southeast end of the South Vista in Southill Park, is one of a collection created by Sir Henry Cheere. It was purchased in 1812 by Samuel Whitbread II. The statue is made of lead and depicts a standing youth leaning on a tree stump. It is supported by a Coade stone plinth, and the entire structure stands approximately 2.5 meters high.
