Description

This statue, located at the northwest end of the South Vista in Southill Park, is part of a collection created by Sir Henry Cheere and was purchased in 1812 by Samuel Whitbread II. The statue depicts a lead female figure representing Ceres and stands on a Coade stone plinth, with a total height of approximately 2.5 metres.
