Farmhouse. Early C17 L-shape core with probably C18 dairy wing to east. Earlier part remodelled mid C19. Older part is timber framed, faced in white brick, under a C19 hipped slated roof. Dairy wing is of colourwashed brick with plaintiled roof. 2 storeys. Main front faces south-west. Symmetrical mid C19 facade with flanking pilaster strips. 2 windows, inset sashes under flat lintols, 16-paned to ground floor, 12-paned to upper floor. Brick hoodmoulds. Contemporary one-storey brick porch with embattled parapet; 4- panel door, the upper panels glazed. Side windows of porch have pointed-arch glazing bars. Central stack with white brick shaft. Interior. Main components of early C17 frame exposed on upper floor. Ovolo-moulded floor beams. One upper room has an ornamental plaster ceiling, each quarter containing 4 panels with borders of pomegranite foliage and Tudor roses within. A portion of the design close to each side wall is missing. This ceiling is above the level of the original and must date from later C17. Mid C19 well stair with stick balusters.
